Boom Blox Bash Party and Grand Slam Tennis have been added to the list of games you can add.

Boom Blox Bash Party is a new game type to the system where it requires no code of any sort. Because of its new nature, there’s always the possibility something could go wrong during the addition process. I’ve tested it twice however with no hitches. If something does go wrong, let me know.

I received a message with some pretty good reasoning that Boom Blox and Metroid Prime 3 shouldn’t be part of the games that can be added as they have no multiplayer functionality. This hasn’t been the first time that I received these sort of hints so I’m thinking of removing them as well as any instances where any users have added either of these games to their library. Unless people provide evidence that overturns this, I will be removing these games by May 29.

Now that I finally finished my final exams I had a chance to add ExciteBots: Trick Racing
and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time
to the list of games you can add to your library.

Hi all,

I’ve come to the decision that the goal of this application has been reached and that I will no longer be working on providing anymore significant updates. I will however update the database to add any wi-fi games when they are released. My goal going into creating this application was to provide an easier way to deal with all the friend codes and such with the Wii and now that I feel it’s been met, I’d like to pursue some other projects I’ve had sitting on hold, one of which is my carputer project.

In regards to the hosting issues I’ve experienced in the past, it looks like I’ve got it all figured out now and the application has been hosted happily alongside my other sites for 23 days straight now with no crashes so this application should continue to stay online until there is no need for it anymore.

I usually don’t pass on links for voting on stuff like this but this time it’s a little different. A friend of mine who is a fellow web designer is in the running for an award and needs votes. He is also the person who got me started in the industry so I feel like I should do my best to help him out or else I would never be where I am, nor would this application have been created.

He’s up against some tough competition from the likes of large agencies so please help him out and vote for him.

I’ve added Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 to the list of games you can add. I’ve also fixed a weird caching bug that would sometimes not allow you to add a game that relied on your console number even though you already added it.

If you’ve accessed the application recently, you might have noticed some changes, or wondered what is going on in regards to the donations I was collecting for server costs.

I’ve collected $102 of my $240 goal and that amount of $102 should cover my bill for the server until the end of May. I’m very thankful to those people who have donated to help cover the costs, you know who you are and I really appreciate the help.

However, rather than start up collecting donations since the deadline for the last one ended without reaching my goal, I thought I’d try experimenting with some new ways to generate funds to cover the hosting bills.

First off, you guys might have noticed the Google Adsense ads that have been running for a long time now. Unfortunately nobody’s really clicking on them (on average, the click-through rate is about 0.5%). This has amounted to roughly $20 over the span of three months which is a rate that is not fast enough to keep up with the bill. So today, I’ve implemented some referrals from Amazon – it’s an experiment but I’m hoping it’s more relevant than some of the garbage ads that have been churned out by Google.

You’ll notice a new link on the sidebar called Store. This is a custom store powered by Amazon with games and accessories that are relevant to you guys. So the next time you want to buy a video game or accessory, why not buy it from there? I’ll get a little commission to help cover the server costs

Next the ads up top have been replaced with individual video game product links (mostly Nintendo Wii games) and purchasing those games by clicking through that will also give me some commission.
